Dracula
Year of publication: 1897
Blood-red, like a book cover, history has become a literary classic of the horror genre. It seems that if you leave the ominous castle, all nightmares will be left behind, but it is not so. The main thing is to remember that you should not offer strange and pale strangers to enter your house.
Jonathan Harker learns about some Count Dracula and goes to him in Transylvania to offer to buy real estate in England. On his way, he meets a crew that brings him to the Count’s castle. Dracula accepts Jonathan’s offer to buy the mansion and persuades the man to write a letter home saying that Harker will be visiting for another month. Jonathan begins to feel bad: There is no servant in the house, and Dracula is not reflected in the mirrors. Then Harker understands that the owner of the castle is not human.
