A person may think that he knows his relatives and friends well. But sometimes even the most pleasant people are not what we think they are.

Rosemary and her husband move to an apartment in New York, and get acquainted with their new neighbors Minnie and Roman. Everything is going well, but Rosemary has a dream, which has not yet come true – she wants to become a mother. One day Minnie brings chocolate mousse to the girl. After dessert Rosemary gets sick, she goes to bed and sees a strange dream where her husband turns into a demon and rapes her. Soon, the girl finds out that she is pregnant. Rosemary begins to realize that something is wrong: she suffers from pain, weight loss and the desire to eat raw meat.
